For way too long, I’ve spent my ~~days~~ years adding holiday destinations to an imaginary list of places I’ll visit when the kids are older; when I’m brave enough; when I’m happy enough. ; never really been that brave; but I am – finally – incredibly happy and ready to venture off my sofa, out of the house and on a few cheeky adventures.

You see – for all of us – there are hundreds of reasons to not see those places; to not book the trip. Sometimes, we have to take plunge and get it booked! What are you waiting for?

1. Any kids to join your adventures?

Yes – two – and they love to (and do!) see different places. But I’m also blessed to have amazing childcare options throughout my family. Life’s about balance; and I’m a better Dad when I allow myself to explore my passions.

3. Ever been scared abroad?

Like most people, I feel apprehension or anxiety with the unfamiliar. I’ve been terrified in LA (Hollywood specifically); but that’s another story, for another time…

2. What’s your background?

I was a primary school teacher before becoming a full-time Dad to my two little cherubs. I’ve always loved English and writing; and am lucky to have the opportunity to write for pleasure when I get a moment alone!

4. Where to next?

Maybe a Christmas market at home or abroad? I have a constant niggle to visit Cologne Cathedral; and another cruise is high on the list. Then there’s New York!? Safe to say: one will be booked soon…
